Goal of work package WP7 is to develop methods for data fusion and to define appropriate data representations for this task. Flying and driving systems produce maps from different view points and in different solutions. Merging such different views on the world is necessary for enabling the systems to work together. Besides the spatial modeling, there is semantic information also inserted into the data sets, e.g., measurements or recognized objects. The data analysis does not have to be performed online, but it must be ensured that all robotic systems have access to the derived information.
